Nirmal Thomas is a Concept Artist and Digital Sculptor who grew up in the arid cities of Oman. Now back in India, he got to experience the cultural and aesthetic dualities of both worlds which had a major influence in shaping him up in the initial years . He has been expressing his unique perspective through art since a very young age.
While mostly working on characters and creatures, he loves dabbling in environments and other aspects of concept design. Being uniquely gifted in memorizing interesting but sometimes mildly annoying tidbits of knowledge, from the geometry of black holes in space to quantum tunneling of fundamental particles, you can rest assured you wont be bored until it gets overwhelming.
Nirmal has worked in the gaming Industry for the past 6+ years and 2 years in the advertising and branding industry as well. This amalgamation of skillsets has enabled him to produce works of varying nature and subjects. Has worked on multiple AAA games like Call of Duty and published In 3DArtist magazine from Imagine Publishing.
When not doodling or working on a project, he can be found pulling things apart to understand how they work or tinkering with new software. Always in search of the next challenging project to dig deep into.
